Self guided tour of mountainous Adjara

Many tour operators offer a comprehensive tour of the Alpine village of Keda with Mahuncetiwaterfall (height 20 m), an arched bridge, Queen Tamar (12 century a.d.), lunch on the mountain riverAdžarischali and Adjaran wine House.

These places are situated on a road in such a sequence (Batumi-Keda):

-The confluence of two rivers

-The Alpine village of Keda with the National Museum

We recommend you start your tour from the village of Keda and go down.

How to get there.

For this self guided tour you must arrive at the Batumi bus station and find at the end, on the right-hand side, at number 77 bus which travels to the village of Keda. Go to the village of 1:10, about the cost of 2 gel and ride shuttle buses every 30 minutes, starting at 8.45 am (Batumi), the latest dispatch from Keds at 17.30. You can certainly catch attempt to return back, but for the security of bettercalculate their time.

Arriving at the final stop takes you right into the Centre of the Alpine villages of Keda. On the right side you will see a long bridge across the River, landscapes with which the show guides, and entrance to the National Museum of the village. Entry to the Museum is free, and its employees will hold a small tour and talk about each exhibit.
